Unthinking Zealots Who’ve Jettisoned their Moral Responsibility Are Killing Helpless Innocent People

There is no significant difference between this…

…and this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ljYNgLnpxM

The only difference between those two videos is who pays the perpetrators.

In both videos the murderers are obviously dedicated to the task of killing.

In both videos the murderers have abandoned their responsibility to determine right from wrong and are simply following orders from distant others.

In both videos the murderers act without fear of interference from bystanders.

In the first video, the murderers are a mob of men brutalizing a woman who dared violate their ridiculous insane sense of ownership of all women.

In the second video, the murderers are a mob of men brutalizing a mentally handicapped man who dared violate their ridiculous insane sense of self-importance.

In both cases, the murderers have abandoned their consciences, and persist in their brutality despite the obvious murder they’re committing.

The only discernible difference is that the murderers in the first video were a mere mob, and the murderers in the second video were a gaggle of tax-financed cops in “the land of the free, and the home of the brave.”

All those murderers are the worst kind of sub-human zealots. They crave violence and sadism, and they seek someone, anyone, to make their violence and sadism appear legitimate, so they don’t have to think for themselves or answer for their murderous actions. The mob latched onto religion. The cops latched onto worship of law.

Job-Induced Innocence. Again.

Again: Your job does not free you from your primary obligation to determine right from wrong and to act accordingly.

Three recent items, all excellent examples of that fact:

How to Vicariously Rape a First Grader

Thursday, April 9th, 2009

Become a judge, have your soul excised, and send a man with an IQ of 47 to prison:

For more than six hours Tuesday, as a parade of witnesses testified about the severity of Aaron Hart’s mental retardation and his inability to understand his legal rights, the 18-year-old defendant with an IQ of 47 sat silent and shackled in a chair, alternately fidgeting and making faces.

But in the end, none of it was enough to persuade a judge in this small east Texas town to reconsider the 100-year prison sentence he gave Hart in February after Hart pleaded guilty to molesting a 6-year-old boy.

Here’s an indication of what an IQ of 47 really means:

Under 70 - Definite feeble-mindedness

99.5% of IQ scores fall between 60 and 140

Eric Clifford, you’re a fucking liar:

Clifford, who last week said he had agonized over the case, took only a few seconds to issue his ruling.

Hart’s parents say he has been raped repeatedly by other inmates since he was first arrested last September.

Drop dead, Clifford. You took the coward’s path: you used the “law” as a substitute for rational thought, at the expense of a small child in an adult body.

Spend a day in Aaron’s place. I dare you.

Still Unbanished

I’m always grateful for the benevolence of the Monroe News, which hosts the forums Monroe Talks, where I’ve been trying my best to explain what’s at stake to jbs:

There is more at stake than confiscation of property.

Like I said to Smash, would you participate in your own execution?

Another vostista who’s swallowed the voting sham.

No Comprehension

Madlen Read has no idea what capitalism is:

…economic professors may well point to 2008 as the year capitalism went on life support.

The local rag links Madlen, and in the print edition, it’s under the moronic headline, “2008: The year capitalism went on life support.”

Banks took stupid risks, and went crying to mama government when those risks burned them. Unfortunately, fractional reserve banking has so infected so many economies that their fall has had repercussions almost everywhere. Even more dismal is the fact that there is almost no one left who understands that a bank, or any other company no matter how large, which habitually makes poor judgments, should fail.

Anyone who points to 2008 as a failure of capitalism, has no idea what capitalism is. Capitalism is not about capital, it’s about freedom. That includes the freedom to fail because of stupid decisions.

Six Degrees of Ernest Griglen

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

Ernest Griglen was beaten by police.

Today, Griglen is unconscious and clinging to life with the use of a ventilator after emergency brain surgery…

The theory of six degrees of separation holds that everyone reading this is separated from Ernest by six degrees on average.

The beating of Ernest strikes me close to home, because I’m only two degrees of separation from him.

I’m willing to bet that at this point in human history, my two degrees of separation from a victim of police brutality is about average.

The single stupid premise is creeping closer to us all.

RIP: To Serve and Protect

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Commenter Andrew at Radley’s place, notes, of cops:

They’ve pretty much dropped any pretense of being anything but bullies, thugs and an army of occupation.

Take a long look at that Denver PD commemorative t-shirt. That’s a mark of people who crave bullying, intimidation, control, and wielding arbitrary force. It’s telling that every cop involved in the DNC received one “free”, yet there is demand for 2000 more.

The pretense “to serve and protect” is long dead. The new premise of police conduct is this: their presumptive authority must be respected at all costs.

Vote Yourself a Strip of Yourself

Sunday, September 28th, 2008

My comment, on a local forum, just now:

Voting is a long-shot bet that someone will shoot your neighbor on your behalf, and give you a slice of the corpse to curb your hunger.

Once again, your words reveal your heart.

You can lead a person to concepts, but you can’t make him think.

A Single Stupid Coercive Premise

Wednesday, September 24th, 2008

Some well-meaning but very stupid folks in Ypsilanti, MI catalyzed another unnecessary police escalation and derailment of a family’s lives:

While she returned to the car to get her cell phone so she could locate her friend, Emily Brumbaugh said, her husband approached the group.

“I heard, ‘Give me my kid,’ and ‘You’re not getting him,”’ she said.

At that point, that crowd was guilty of kidnapping.

The idiot cops who arrived on the scene didn’t help by sorting things out or dissipating tension:

Egeler said Lloyd Brumbaugh ran to the boy and picked him up, but Washtenaw County Sheriff’s deputies had arrived by then. He said he was told to put the boy down so they could talk. Brumbaugh complied, but when Deputy Katrina Bourdeau reached for the boy, Brumbaugh pushed her away and grabbed him, Egeler said.

There is no dispute that the Lloyd is the father of the boy, so when the deputy attempted to take Brumbaugh’s son, she became guilty of attempted kidnapping. Getting between a parent and his child is like getting between a grizzly and her cubs: you’re just asking for serious? trouble. Surely even a cop knows that, and should be able act accordingly without escalating the situation.

Emily Brumbaugh said she was placed in a patrol car until she calmed down and Brumbaugh was taken to a hospital, and didn’t learn where her husband was until he called her from jail at 7 p.m. that night.

And at that point the police made themselves guilty of kidnapping both Emily and Lloyd.

Unfortunately for everyone, cops everywhere are increasingly shooting first and asking questions later, if they bother to ask questions at all. As far as I can tell, they operate on only one premise: their authority must be respected at all costs.

Unreasonable Suspicion

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

Charley Hardman recently had another close encounter with the thin blue spine, and that encounter revealed that cops no longer need any evidence at all to derail your life:

the modern cop definition of suspicion ? of criminal activity ? is what he doesn’t know. have lost count of the times i’ve sat in my car listening to all the woes that will befall the world because i refuse the “papers please” dance of bullshit. why?

he doesn’t know if i’m a terrorist.
he doesn’t know if i’m a burglar.
he doesn’t know if i’m a stalker.
he doesn’t know if i’m a serial murderer.

some can keep at that for about 7 items. things he does not know! that’s what these decrepit assholes now consider RAS (reasonable articulable suspicion). without my ID they don’t know if i’m “wanted”. without my ID they don’t know all sorts of shit, jack. and that is fucking “suspicious”.

There is no limit to what anyone doesn’t know. That means cops no longer need any reason at all to stop you and wreck your life, based on the fact that they don’t a know damn thing about you.
